internal flow (pipe) tutorial was created by Matthew Bondy
I have been following the pipe tutorial with some minor difficulties. When I go to extrude over the path I have created with a sketch I can select my cross section but I cannot select the path. The software seems to be indicating that the path is not a valid choice. I have noticed that the tutorials appear to have been created with a different version.

I ended up building the geometry in segments and then using boolean operations to combine them. Everything else worked fine. I would like to understand what I am doing wrong (or if it is a software issue).

Thanks,

Confirm here on Salome 3.2.9
I had to build the elbow as a boolean sum of pipes.

No not yet... the package is currently being prepared by Aimery Assire at EDF.
I will update the website as soon as it is available !

From my side, I am trying to compile Aster 9.4 64 bit with Intel Compiler 11 to have the best performance... If it works well, I will try to package this version in the next CAELinux (modified Ubuntu 8.04 64bit) along with Salome-Meca-2009

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to compile Aster with Intel compiler too. For now I was able to install Intel compiler only, but Aster complains about ifor compiler missing (I think I made something wrong installing the compiler). If I will have some good news I will post something.

Have a nice day. Alessandro.
