Linux distro for CAElinux was created by poil gendron
Hi!
On which linux distros is CAElinux most likely to work perfectly? I'm currently using Ubuntu, and although it works, there are a couple of things that doesn't work that fine.
Thanks!

Well CAELinux is a distribution, but the tools such as Salome-MECA is likely to works as well on any distribution. I've heard good things about Fedora 11.

Yes, but it has been many many years since I tried it. My advice would be test test a few distributions to find one that suits you and doesn't have the bugs you have with ubuntu - Salome-MECA etc. will probably work equally well on either distribution.
