Hi, I downloaded CAELinux 2011 with the Filezilla, and below is what the md5sum.txt tells me
it doesn't seem to match
MD5Sum: 9d788406fe59de7c4aac40e0102d6f84 as on the CAELinux website.

I really REALLY want to use CAE linux, but I am having a hard time getting it working. What can I do?
I am willing to do what it takes.

The md5sum given on the website is the one for CAELinux2011.iso image not for the individual files in the iso image.
Could you also tell me what "does not work"? DVD does not boot, no bootloader prompt?
If you get a bootloader prompt, just press "return" and it should boot..
Last point, if you are using FTP, make sure to use "binary" transfer mode and to save the file on a NTFS partition if you are running Windows or EXT3/EXT4 if you are running linux (FAT32 and some ext2 do not support such large files).
