Stress analysis was created by J
Hello everyone,
I've tried to find the answer for my question in number of forums and manuals, but is not that simple. I would like to confirm or denied follow problem:
Could any of CAE software is able to solve the sterss analysis of fluid which effects on pipe walls for instance?
I mean to designate the amount of stesses which are the effects of pressure and temperarure of gas or liquid flowing trough the pipe and show graphically the regions of material where the stresses appear.
Of course this is the basic information about designing thickness of walls for instance pipe or cylinder.

If it passible please tell me which of the programs from CAE Linux pack is proper to do that kind of simulation...

Search a bit around here and on the web for FSI - Fluid Structure Interaction. It is a pretty advanced topic and not readily available with the tools provided by e.g. CAELinux. That is not to say it is impossible. :)
