CA 10.08 - COQUE_3D - QUAD8: "Aucun "rigidié" ? was created by Volker Claus Falk
Hi all,
tried hard to model my own simple flat plate with COQUE_3D by using QUAD8 / QUAD8_9
elements according to Kees' examples - in a first step as static linear calculation
(while avoiding TOUT='OUI' in the COMM file thus replacing this by GROUP_MA
and realizing QUAD8 and SEG3 from QUAD4 and SEG2 in SALOME), but now it works somehow.
There are still some strange error messages:
1. <A> <CALCULEL2_63>
La maille M61(# its a QUAD8 element before transformation to QUAD8_9) porte un élément
fini de bord, mais elle ne borde aucun élément ayant une "rigidité".
# Same message for all QUAD8 elements, but stopped after 5th report ...
2. <A> <CALCULEL2_64>
-> Le modèle MO_1 n'a pas d'éléments sachant calculer la rigidité.
Anything to worry about?
Would like to realize later on static nonlinear calculations (thin plates, 3rd order), thus
maybe this will lead to probs?
Would appreciate any help.

Interest: structural mechanics, solar energy (picture at 'my location' shows too little pv panels)

This is a standard warning message. Probably because the quad8 element has no stiffness assigned. This is assigned to the modified mesh (quad9).

Most warning messages stop after five reports.

Same remark here I guess: model MO_1 is quad8? and not used in the stiffness calculations.2. <A> <CALCULEL2_64>
