Code Saturn - Error in calculation stage.

Hallo,

beim ersten Testmodell mit Code Satur bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Wo könnte ich anfangen den Fehler zu suchen?

In the Code Saturne GUI -> Calculation management -> Prepare batch calculation section check that the "Number of processors" is one and run the case again.

If this works and you do have mpi installed it may be the environment (PATH) that misses something (try running mpirun in a shell window).

thank's! I have test it with 1, 2 ... 24 CPU's in the "Number of processors". I think it is an problem of my installation of Code Saturn under nativ ubuntu 10.04 64bit. Of a system with CAELinux 2010 an there Code Saturn the modell run's. Thank for the replay. I will test the mpi installation unter nativ ubuntu 10.04.

If it does not work with one processor it is probably an issue of base installation or environment. I don't know if these values are normal for a correct installation on Ubuntu:

Kernel version: /usr/local
Preprocessor: /usr/local/bin

In my installation it says:

Kernel version: /opt/code_saturne/Noyau/ncs-1.3.3
Preprocessor version: /opt/code_saturne/Enveloppe/ecs-1.3.3

but that is because I compiled/installed CS in /opt/code_saturne.

Seem You have asked for 4 processors. This requires the you actually have 4 processors available. Also - if the case runs when using 1 processor it could be the mpi installation that is not present or incompatible. I use the old version of CS so transcrips are different.
