Further Homard Problematic was created by Kamil Gul
Hi all,
When I used homard for standard bulk material refinement. I lost all data of face groups, 2D groups which plays important role in contact surface defining. Not only I lost groups ( software omitting their physical existence), I cannot create them neither by GUI ( by choosing them one by one via Mesh-->Create Groups...) of Salome nor by Aster .comm file (using DEFI_GROUP..) .
Could this be related with multiple successive Homard iterations instead of using single step. After multiple iterations may be groups on med file can't be accessible..
Is it logical using Homard module for other type of analysis ? Me doing contact , but I haven't tested it on other types of analysis and I only saw Kess's tests of homard.
Instead of using DEFI_GROUP, could I use CREA_MAILLAGE for creating groups? Will it yield better results?
Regards,
Kamil

Single step refinement works better but I cannot do multiple iterations successfully
