Visualisation of correct BEAM orientation was created by Luigi
Hi to everybody,
When I am postprocessing a BEAM model, I need to understand if the beam orientation I assigned in Aster is correct (i.e. to check if beam section axes are correctly oriented).
But Salomè has only wireframe mode to visualize a beam model.
Is there some way to do it?
If there is no possibility at moment, this is a suggestion to improve it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Don't know if I understand you correctly, but you can turn on and off shading for everything and a particular part. Try selecting your beam solid and right-clicking.

Maybe my first message was not correct...
The beam is not a solid, it is a wire, only the axes is displayed. I assigned mechanical characteristics to the section and performed analysis, but in postpro module I can visualize only one axes (or wire).
So, I cannot visualize if section characteristics are correct, for sample, I cannot check if the section axes are correctly oriented (typical error is rotate the section to 90°).
I hope the situation now is clear, thanks a lot for your help.

Any chance you can upload the result-files so we can look at it - personally I can't come up with a solution without looking at it
