Error in Code_Aster resultfile reported by Salome was created by Walter Marx
Hi,
I've followed the excellent tutorial for meshing the piston-example with Salome and for preparing the input files and ensuing processing with Code_Aster.
Everything worked fine but when I tried to visualize the result-file with Salome according to the procedure pointed out in the tutorial, Salome complained that it had found an error in this file and did refuse to load it.
I've repeated the procedure of preparing and computing the piston-example a number of times on various machines running various flavours of Linux but always ending with the same error message.
I used the Salome-Version released end of last year and the Code_Aster version 8.2 released begin of this year.
Does anybody have a clue?
Thanks,
Walter

Last version of code-aster by default uses a med version different wrt the one used by salome.
In the code-aster forum the issue is described and the workaround is proposed (install the 8.2 version with the med libraries of the former version).

Hope it helps,
