Applying a load on the nodes of 2D FE was created by vito
Hello,
I am looking for an advice on how to apply a load on 2 nodes of 2D FE if it's possible.
When I make a group of two nodes as a loadpoints in Mesh (using SALOME 3.2.2v) and then choose a GROUP_MA of those two loadpoints in AFFE_CHAR_MECA of EFFICAS, the solver fails. An error message says:
LE GROUP_MA Loadpoint NE FAIT PAS PARTIE DU. I don't understand it as my French is really poor.
I'd be very thankfull if someone gave me an advice on how to do that.
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
the problems comes from the fact that you created a Group of Nodes (GROUP_NO ins the Aster terminology) and you used it in a GROUP_MA (group of elements) option.
The solution is simply to delete the GROUP_MA selection of your command in Eficas and to create instead a GROUP_NO selection with the name of your group of nodes: Loadpoints.
This should solve your problem.
PS: the error message means that the group of elements Loadpoints does not exist in the mesh

Ciao Vito,
moreover please respect that names in Code-Aster must not be longer than 8 characters. You can name Your group of nodes \"Loadpoin\" but not \"Loadpoints\"
