Hi,

I am trying to generate a table from a single Cutline (in Salome). Is there any way of contolling the number of points generated in the table?

For some reason when I do a cutline on a plane at 45 degrees (about x-axis) through my model I get a lot of points, but when I do a cutline on a plane at -45 degrees (about x-axis) through my model I only get two points reported in my table. Graphically (in the VTK scene viewer) results at about 20 points are shown, so I know there should be more data there!

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Hi,

I seem to have solved my own problem here. Cutlines appears to report values where ever it crosses the edge of an element. When I changed the angle of the line to -40 degrees (instead of -45), I got much more points.

Thanks
