Convert mesh in med forma to modulef format

Hi everybody,

I am trying to convert a mesh made in Salome, in format .med, to any format that could be understood by Fortran, such as Modulef.

Moreover, I would like to know the internal structure of a file .med, does anybody know how to understand this type of files?

You could check the unv translators. The admin made available this modular python universal converter. It starts from the unv file, which Salome can create. It is a great start, and offers the possibility to customize it at will.
Besides, the unv file format is ascii.
