Import .unv file was created by Jacopo
Hello to all forum, I see that there is the possibility to solve with code-aster a problem with the mesh made with IDEAS format.
Is there some one to explane the procedure to import an IDEAS mesh in code-aster solutor and modify it with eficas?
Regards
Jacopo

ciao Jacopo,
here is an example for using the UNV-format.
Per default, ASKT and Eficas expect the Input-Ideas-file to have the extension .msup.
What is done in the .comm-file:
-Converting the Ideas-file into ASTER-format, using PRE_IDEAS, building groups distinguished by the (Ideas-) coulours of the entities nodes and elements (2411 and 2412)
-Reading the ASTER-mesh by LIRE_MAILLAGE
-creating some groups of nodes with eficas-commands
.
. some more things
.
-writing the mesh in ASTER-format by IMPR_RESU, into the file with extension .mast
Groups can be transfered from Ideas to Aster by giving (in Ideas) different coulours to entities or by having groups in Ideas of entity-type 2467. The latter is the better possiblity, because it allows You to visualize the entities contained in the group in Your Preprozessor.
Good luck, Johannes
