SALOME-MECA - Error at piston tutorial was created by Tom Krivec
Hi,

I have a problem with the new Salome-Meca package. The CAELINUX package is installed on my hard disk as second OS. When I do the piston tutorial everything works fine until i start the final calculation of the CodeAster file with "Solve Code_Aster case". Then I get the warning "WARNING: ERROR while exporting reference to a file0:1:2:3". The calculation stops.

The tutorial works out fine with the LiveCD. So I suppose something is wrong with my installation. But I do not know where to look... (Unfortunately no French and only a little Linux).

Maybe someone has an advice how to proceed.

thanks, Tom

Hi again,

sometimes its too simple: I have just found out that the path for the terminal at the "linear Elasticity ..." calculation case parameters section is not correct:

After installation of CAELinux on the hard disk the "Terminal" value at parameters is: "/union/usr/bin/xterm ..."
Just remove the "/union" section so the correct value is "/usr/bin/xterm...".

Now everything works fine.

Nevertheless thanks again.
