Hi,
I try to extrude a face along a path like in CAE tutorials but it impossible to select a wire. However, it possible to select an edge.
Did someone make the same remark?

Post edited by: KREZEL, at: 2008/04/29 17:03

In fact I use SALOME_MECA under CAE Linux 2008.
If I extrude a circle along an edge made without sketch itis OK.
It fails with a edge made with a sketch ( bad direction !).
If I made a wire without sketching, it is also impossible to extrude along a path.

Hi,
the same problem appears to me at this tutorial. Did you once zoomed very close to the center? You also might see that the center of the face (and circle) you created is not (0;0;0;) but something infinitely different. I think this is the problem. But i don't know why the creation of the circle doesn't creates it's center to the vertex, which you define.
Did you find an answer or a solution to handle this problem?
regards!
