using the aster wizard for linear/elastic study, is there a way to define a surface force as apposed to a surface pressure as the flash piston demo outlines? if no surface, can the wizard be used to define point forces?
Thanks in advance

Post edited by: Arlen Nelson, at: 2008/07/15 22:52

from what i can interpret, is to use the wizard which seems only capable of assigning a surface force, does that mean that to apply a force the surface area must be manually calculated (or using cad package) and the correct pressure calculated?
if i altered the tutorial and selected numerous points, would i then be able to apply a force? i assume applying a force vector would also be required?
