my computer is for hire was created by Charles Ramsey

I run folding.stanford.edu/ in the background on my laptop. It uses 50 percent of the processor and gets out of the way when when the processor approaches 100 percent. My idea is to let companies also use my computer for hire with CAE Linux programs. My last laptop lasted 3 years running every day say 8000 hours and cost $800 so I would rent my laptop for 10 cents an hour. Let the free market work here. This is logical the power industry has determined that using emergency power generators during high loads is economical even thou those generators cast more per watt hour than is generally charged.

No offence, but you have to provide HPC in order to compete with any of the other players out there.
I can't imagine anyone who would buy time on a personal laptop
