Issue with Intel Evo Compatibility on CAELinux was created by Winnie Windsor
Hey everyone,
I hope you're all doing well. I recently encountered a compatibility issue between Intel Evo and CAELinux, and I was wondering if anyone else has faced a similar problem or has any insights on how to resolve it.
I have been using CAELinux for my engineering simulations and analysis tasks, and it has been working great so far. However, I recently purchased a laptop that comes with Intel Evo platform certification. While the laptop performs exceptionally well in general computing tasks, I noticed some unexpected behavior when running CAELinux applications.
Specifically, I've experienced intermittent crashes, graphical glitches, and occasional slow performance when using CAELinux software. These issues occur primarily during complex simulations or when utilizing resource-intensive tools. I suspect that it may be related to the compatibility between Intel Evo's hardware and the CAELinux software stack.
I have tried updating my graphics drivers, BIOS, and even reinstalled CAELinux to ensure that it is up to date. However, the problems persist. I have also searched online for any known issues or workarounds, but haven't been able to find much information specific to this Intel Evo -CAELinux combination.
If anyone has any insights, suggestions, or has experienced similar issues, I would greatly appreciate your input. It would be helpful to know if there are any specific configurations, patches, or workarounds that can improve the compatibility between Intel Evo and CAELinux.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
