Has anyone tried running CAELinux on an Intel Evo platform?

I am planning to run CAELinux on an Intel Evo platform and I was wondering if anyone has tried this before. I am curious about the performance of this configuration compared to other hardware setups. If you have any experience with this, I would appreciate your input.Some specific questions I have are:

• Did you experience any issues with performance?
• Was the performance better or worse than other hardware configurations you have used?
