Failure to start CAE Linux from grub was created by Hristo Goumnerov
Hello all,
I'm trying to install CAE-Linux 2020 on my new Lenovo P1 Gen5 Laptop, but unfortunately it doesn't work. I have set up multiple partitions on my drive and have successfully installed Fedora on one of them. Now I am trying to do the same with CAE-Linux, but to no avail. I downloaded the ISO file, checked the md5sum, installed Ventoy, copied the ISO onto it and booted from the USB. After selecting the CAE-Linux ISO, I see the grub menu, but after selecting any of the options (and also trying the "nosplash debug --verbose" setting) my screen just goes black and nothing happens. I checked the USB on another computer and there everything works fine. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I tried booting the Lite version as well as Ubuntu 22.04 through Ventoy.
When i click on any of the options in the grub menu for the Lite version i receive the following error:
error: invalid magic number
error: you need to load kernel first
The full version of CAELinux 2020 still only shows a black screen after any selecion in the grub menu.
Ubuntu loads without any issues.
So clearly there is some kind of problem with CAELinux 2020. Any ideas?

Wish I could help. Unfortunately I have a question about GRUB too. I'm very discouraged that you have gotten not even a response in almost a year. Best of luck. Maybe someone will take mercy on us and answer our questions.
