Convert Solid into a Shell was created by Danny
Hello,
i am new in use Salome.
My Problem is, that i must convert a solid into a shell. Is this possible in Salome or in another open source program?
The solid is ja .step file.

Salomé would be a good bet to explode the model into faces and recombining them.

Hello,
I think's it's rather about mid-surface creation .
To my knowledge this is not possible with Salome or any other open-source cad tool
- But if there is one, i would also be very interested to hear about it!
