Tested systems

Hi all,

here is a list of the PC's on which I have tested CAELinux Beta1 LiveDVD:

1) Dell Inspiron 5150, P4 3Ghz, 1Gb Ram: OK
2) Dell Dimension 8300, 9150, 5000 (all P4 with Intel chipsets) with 1Gb Ram: OK.
3) Generic Athlon 1Ghz, Asus A7V motherboard ,512Mb Ram: OK
4) Generic Athlon 64 X2 3800+, nForce 4 chipset, 2Gb Ram: OK with \"noapic nolapic\" boot options, but doesn't support USB wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse and doesn't support nForce4 internal network card

Query about the linux OS:
It is said that CAELinux is a LiveDVD Linux distribution based on PcLinuxOs .92 (linux kernel 2.6). IS it the kernal (kernal 2.6 and above ) or the distributor of linux(PCLinuxOS 0.92) over which CAELinux works?

I am actually having FC4 (kernal 2.6.11 or so), will it work on that. I will try it after some days as I am out of station and came to know about CAELinux during my tour only.
