After launching salome-meca,
The shell pop-up and after few second displays : 'Failed to narrow the root naming context'
Then the launching of Salome ends ...
Please help ?!
Thank you.

I'm having the same problem, but when I follow the instructions in the link you provided I get a little lost. I got my host name from www.displaymyhostname.com/ and its very weird. I'm not sure which parts are the name and the domain. I'm relatively new to Linux so this isn't exactly second nature to me. Any help would be appreciated.
