Crash when switching from geometry to meshing

Crash when switching from geometry to meshing was created by Darren Nelson
After I import my geometry (iges file) I try swithing to the Meshing module. Once I do this Salome just shuts down/crashes and I get an error:
Error: Could not get dma buffer... exiting
I just went through adding the open ATi drivers etc. Any solutions?

I think you should try the proprietary driver from ATI - it sounds like a typical GFX issue
