Salome-Error in Geometry Module

I just installed CAELinux2007 on my hard disk and tried to use Salome. The moment I select Geometry in the GUI, I get a message
SIGSEGV : Segmentation violation detected Adress 4

I also want to add that everything works fine in the livecd mode. Any help would be really apprciated!

Found the answer in your French Forum. Changed the graphic driver. Problem resolved.

I am using Salome-Meca-2008.1 in Ubuntu 8.10, and trying go through the example in this link: caelinux.com/CMS/index.php?option=com_co...;id=15&Itemid=40. When I proceeded to the Creat Group (2) in Mesh module, I came across a Segmentaion Violation. I am using NVIDIA 6800 GT video card, and the proprietary driver.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. (what more information should I provide?)

Nice software but I have problem, at work I use laptop with intel gfx,
glxgears works, gives about 600FPS,but salome crash.

I load tutorial assembly, at top nav bar I select Geometry and got this:
>>> *** glibc detected *** SALOME_Session_Server: free(): invalid next size (normal): 0x08854ff8 ***

But, on nvidia with nvidia GLX salome is working well

Maybe you use something nasty from GLX/Nvidia and it is not
working with Mesa and intel graphics ?
I don't know what to do with my laptop, maybe I should change it and
buy new one with NV gfx
