Hi,
Can any one suggest on the possibility of modeling catamaran hull forms in Salome for CFD analysis using the code-saturne or FoamX. Other wise is it possible to import the model from some other modeling software's and use it in any of these CFD analysis packages

Hi,
I would assume that Salomé has the capabilities of modelling such forms, provided that the user gets used to the tool.
As far as the CFD codes are concerned, I cannot tell for OpenFOAM but Code_Saturne can read a relatively large number of mesh formats, including MED (from Salomé), CGNS, GAMBIT Neutral, GMSH, I-deas universal, Simail, pro-STAR (this one is less tested nonetheless). So, any mesh tool that would be able to export in one of these formats would fit.
