Capturing modal animation mpeg, avi, etc. was created by JMB
Hello,
I am using CAElinux 2008 and SAlome 3.2.9 and would like to capture a modal animation into some sort of video format mpeg, avi, etc. Salome has an animation button in the Post-processor, but it is slow and besides there seems to be no method to capture this motion.
How can I accomplish this please in either Salome or some sort of screen capture program that can record the happenings on the screen, somewhat like how the tutorial has been made? Tahnk you for any help I can get.
Regards,

I found my own answer. I used Multimedia -> Graphics -> Wink to capture a portion of the screen and used the [Pause] key everytime Salome posted a new frame. Then I used the "Render" button (Green Right Arrow) in Wink to convert the series of images into an *.swf file.
I would have preferred *.mpeg, or *.avi; but *.swf will do for now.
