mesh strategy curved object was created by Johnny Geling
Hello,
Yesterday I spent a whole day on meshing a small, very curved and relatively thin object (injection molded plastic part).
Using salome-meca 2008 (3.2.9 of salome) I tried the hexa, the tetra and the netgen strategies.
The netgen run out of memory. The other it looks like the hang, nog progess is visible in the console window.
When a mesh computation finished normal there are several faces not meshed.
What approach should I take to mesh this component? Are there some guidlines for these kind of problems?
I mesh this part with CosmosWorks in no time, always within 2 min. I would assume Salome can do the meshing as wel, maybe somewhat slower.
I realy would appreciate if someone can help me out.
Johnny
