Claus,
thank you very much for your reply.
I attached the developing blade file here:
pier.unirc.eu/cestino/blade.hdf.gz
I tried again but with no success. These are the files in the project directory:
$ ls blade_work.*
blade_work.comm blade_work.hdf blade_work.mail.med
and
$ ls LinearStatics_3DCompound_Mesh_PALA.*
LinearStatics_3DCompound_Mesh_PALA.export LinearStatics_3DCompound_Mesh_PALA.resu
LinearStatics_3DCompound_Mesh_PALA.mess LinearStatics_3DCompound_Mesh_PALA.resu.med
LinearStatics_3DCompound_Mesh_PALA.base:
glob.1.gz pick.1.gz
Files med are not text file so I cannot access them. I thought that the med module was the tool to use but I am still trying to find a doc about its use.
Regards,
Pier

Code_Aster release : STA11.4 on OpenSUSE 12.3 64 bits - EDF/Intel version

no, the med file is a mesh file with the values superimposed. Using the Salomé-MECA wizard, Code_Aster is not asked to extract and write the results to a text file, that's why you can't find them. You can however, edit the comm file to extract the values to a text file - a few days ago I wrote a bit about that on the wiki; have a look here:
