How to run code_Saturne from within Salome?

I heard this was now possible, I am new to using both Salome and code_saturne and the idea of viewing the geometry while applying boundary conditions is very appealing :). An interactive tutorial on how to run code_saturne from within Salome was presented at the User meeting last Dec. So I hope that someone viewed this and can share knowledge/experiences.

Thanks in advance!!

This is what I could dig up - very exciting.

I know it is also possible to couple it via syrthes, but that's not a place I'd want to go just yet.

Thanks Claus,

I guess we have to wait for Salome 4.3.1 for this possibility.

Hello all,

Please have a look there: cfd.mace.manchester.ac.uk/Saturne/SalomeSaturne and give us any feedback at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
There is no tutorial (or help) yet, and it is based on the "production" version 1.3.3, but still... it works

Have fun!
