Meshing in curves!! was created by Ying wai Man
Hi, I have made a block out of points, lines and faces, which one of the faces is curved. In wireframe, you can see the curves perfectly, however, when changed in shading, a strange angle is shown from the curves. When I try to create a mesh and compute them, the curve is lost and a strange "face" has come out. At the moment, I am at work, I will post both pictures to clarify my problem.

To admin, I tried to attach an image file and a folder, but nothing shows on my post in preview. How can I attach those files??

Well, it slooks rather strange indeed. In this way I cannot say which could be the error, so I suggest you the following:
Since it's a simple piece, try firstly drawing the 2D section on the Y-Z plane and then extrude it along X. That should be the best way.
Otherwise try posting the hdf file or tell us how you modelled step by step the piece. Did you imported the geometry? Perhaps if you imported an IGES file the surfaces were not swed correctly, but I'm speculating.

I made it out of points, then I connect those points into lines, and each of the curves are made out of three points. That's it. The reason why I use this method is because I am just a beginner. I do not know yet how to extrude it or something like that. What I do know is how to make the shape I want by using points. So, you know by now at what level I am. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
