meshing problem was created by frette
Hi,
I am begining with salome+aster, and have some problem with the meshing step.
At first, the piston tutorial don't match with the present commands : there is nope average length, but some automatic length.
OK.
I am going on a first try to mesh my project. The study2 is too coarse, I am trying to reduce the length of the mesh, reducing from .06xx to .006xx
The result in study3, no effect compared to study2.
How can I cross over this first contact with salome ?
Tx for your help
..... and btw, impossible to join a zip or a tar.gz file to this post

Finally, trying and searching and trying again, I found those tutorials :
www.salome-platform.org/user-section/sal...rials/edf-exercise-1
and what I understand is : the closer of 1 is the 1D "Automatic Length" Fitness, the more of cells are for a 2D meshing.
Don't ask me why (in my initial naive mental representation, that Fitness would be 1 - Fitness, so the size of the cells).
But the admins of the site giving the adress of edf exercises, that will avoid to waste 3 hours with this kind of problem.
And edf team will be happy to have some visits, and forget the EPR problems.
