never used it, probably did see it.
Anyway, I can insert a very small radius.
And it all depends on the settings fields as far as I can see.

now something will be more clear. In my Version of Salone the field "Input Fields Precision" does not exist. Probably during initialization it won´t be loaded and gives some strange results.
On your computer do you use cae-linux directly installed from live-dvd?
